Traditional Gushing And Funny Costume Competition in Colombia
These are pictures from last year, but it is certainly worth a look! I am thrilled with the costumes, which showing great effort, creativity, and love for their country at least. This time the award for the best traditional costume went to the candidate from Meta with a design by Alfredo Barraza elaborated by artisans, entitled “Sierra de la Macarena”. But I believe that the jury had no easy task… All costumes are beautiful!
The suit was inspired by the breathtaking beauty and colors of Cano Cristales, located in the department of Meta and cited often as the most beatiful river in the world.
