Illustrated Naughty Girls By Keith Garvey
Garv (Keith Garvey) has been on the scene for some time, creating art not only for the adult fiction web site Ruthie’s Club, but also doing privately commissioned work and offering his unique “girls” on a number of different products. In addition, “Garv’s Girls” have been collected in two anthologies of the same name. Garv lives in western New York and holds a degree in commercial art from the Institute of Pittsburgh. While Garv’s work is enhanced and finished digitally, all of his girls are rendered by hand in pencil first. Garv’s juxtaposition of coloring and imagery manages to capture the best of modern-day art with the class of yesterday’s pin-up girls, giving his work a unique feel that any artist would be proud to call his own.
